Although not licenced funeral directors, these members of our staff are vitally important toward the operation of our firm. These individuals make it possible for us to professionally coordinate funerals with the quality of service our community has come to expect from us.
Kim was raised in Tara and attended high school in Chesley. Upon graduating from the Dental Assisting Program at George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology, she married Dan in 1993 and they resided in Kitchener and Toronto until 1998. At this time, they moved back to Chesley to assist in the operation of the family owned and operated funeral home, McFadden Funeral Home. She and Dan purchased the family business in 1999. In 2004 they sold their business in Chesley and moved to Kincardine and purchased the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home from Ken and Debby Davey. As well as assisting Dan in the operation of the funeral home, she is a busy mother of three children, Madison, Garrett and Bryce. She enjoys baseball, hockey and scrapbooking.
Karen was born and raised in Kincardine. She has been with Davey-Linklater Funeral Home since 1990. Karen and Lorne have been married since 1999. Karen is mother to 3 grown children, Craig, Andy and Kerry.
Beckie and her husband Wayne moved to Inverhuron in 2000. Wayne is a retiree from Stelco. Beckie worked as an administrator for a group of funeral homes in Hamilton for 11 years. She is a mother of 2 grown sons, Phil and his partner Andriana & Jeff and his wife Kati and proud grandmother to Nicholas.
